Cooling methods of greenhouses
Greenhouse is a common agricultural facility, mainly used to provide a suitable growing environment for crops in the season or region that is not suitable for open field planting. However, due to the closed nature of greenhouses, their internal temperatures are often higher and measures need to be taken to cool them down. The following will detail the methods that greenhouse farmers often use to cool down.
1.Natural ventilation and cooling
Natural ventilation cooling is one of the most commonly used cooling methods in greenhouses. It is by opening the window or skylight of the greenhouse, using the natural wind to introduce the cool air from the outside into the shed, thereby reducing the temperature inside the shed. This method is simple, does not require additional energy, and the cooling effect is relatively stable. However, natural ventilation cooling is more limited by climatic conditions, if the external temperature is too high, the effect of ventilation cooling system will be affected.
2.wet curtain cooling
Wet curtain cooling is a method of using water evaporation to absorb heat to achieve the purpose of cooling. In the greenhouse, the wet curtain cooling system is usually composed of water pump, water tank, wet curtain, fan and so on. When the water in the water tank is extracted by the pump and transported to the wet curtain through the pipeline, the water molecules will continue to evaporate through the fiber surface of the wet curtain, absorbing the heat in the shed, thereby reducing the temperature in the shed. The wet curtain cooling system can be adjusted according to needs, such as changing the humidity of the wet curtain, the air volume of the fan, etc., to achieve a better cooling effect. However, the cooling of the wet curtain requires regular maintenance and management, such as cleaning the debris on the surface of the wet curtain and replacing the water source to ensure its normal operation.
3.Shading system cooling
Shading system cooling is a method of reducing the temperature in a shed by blocking sunlight. In the greenhouse, the sunshade system is usually composed of sunshade net, support rod, motor and so on. When it is necessary to cool down, the motor drives the sunshade net to unfold, blocking the sunlight into the shed, thereby reducing the temperature in the shed. The sunshade system can be adjusted according to needs, such as changing the density of the sunshade net, the expansion amplitude, etc., to achieve a better cooling effect. However, the sunshade system requires regular maintenance and management, such as cleaning the dust on the surface of the sunshade screen and replacing damaged parts, to ensure its normal operation.
4.Spray cooling
Spray cooling is a method of lowering the temperature in a shed by spraying water. In the greenhouse, the spray system is usually composed of sprinkler heads, pipes, pumps, etc. When it is necessary to cool down, the pump transmits water through the pipe to the nozzle, and the nozzle evenly sprays the water in the air in the shed, and the water molecules evaporate to absorb heat, thereby reducing the temperature in the shed. Spray cooling can be adjusted according to needs, such as changing the number of sprinklers, spraying density, etc., to achieve a better cooling effect. However, spray cooling requires regular maintenance and management, such as cleaning debris on the surface of the nozzle and replacing the water source to ensure its normal operation.
